Fruit Garden Lease 2024
Terms and Conditions
1. A certified copy of the National ID card and the receipt for purchasing the schedule must be submitted with the tender.
2. The tender must be submitted in a sealed envelope in the designated box. The envelope should be clearly labeled "Fruit Garden Lease Tender Schedule 2024 for One Season."
3. All required information in the schedule/tender form must be completed in clear writing.
4. A refundable bank draft or pay order of 10% of the quoted tender price, drawn from any branch of Sonali Bank PLC in favor of the "Deputy Director, Horticulture Center, Baradi, Meherpur," must be submitted as a security deposit with the tender.
5. Except for the highest and second-highest bidders, other bidders may collect their bank draft/pay order from this office 48 hours after the tender opening.
6. All submitted tenders will be sent to the headquarters for approval, and further actions will be taken based on the approval. The approved bidder will be notified by letter or mobile from this office.
7. The approved bidder must pay VAT and income tax in accordance with government regulations based on the total amount quoted before receiving the work order.
8. If the approved bidder fails to pay the entire amount of the quoted price, VAT, and income tax within the stipulated time, their security deposit will be forfeited in favor of the government without prior notice.
9. Trees marked with an 'X' for seed, scion collection, and germplasm purposes, as well as fruit trees in the residential area, are excluded from the lease.
10. During the fruit-bearing season or in cases of urgent need, no obstruction should be created in grafting trees (mango, jackfruit, lychee).
11. Cutting branches from trees is prohibited, and if branches are broken due to natural calamities or other reasons, the bidder cannot claim them.
12. The successful bidder must submit a photo and a photocopy of the National ID card of each personnel employed for the maintenance/security of the fruit garden to the office and collect an identification card.
13. The office must be informed before fruit harvesting. If any damage occurs to the trees during harvesting, the leaseholder will be required to pay compensation as per the authority's decision.
14. The leaseholder can collect fruits only for the one-season period from December 2024 to July 2025.
15. If no deductions are made from the security deposit as compensation, it will be refunded at the end of the term.
16. No schedule will be sold on the tender opening date.
17. On the tender submission day, if any bidder obstructs another, the obstructing person will be handed over to the police upon receiving a written statement from the obstructed individual.
18. The leaseholder must properly maintain the leased gardens. No harmful/illegal chemicals may be used on the trees.
19. The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without showing any reason.
